This year's conference will be held at the Old National Events Plaza in Evansville, September 16-18, 2020. Keep checking this page for new details to be added as we get closer to conference.

Conference Scholarships

The INAFSM Board offers conference scholarships to applicants who otherwise would not be able to attend the event. INAFSM will grant one conference registration scholarship to a floodplain manager and one to a stormwater manager. The deadline for scholarship applications is June 26, 2020. The application and details have been posted online. 

Tracking PDHs

For those who need to track their professional development hours, you can use this PDH Tracker Sheet (will be posted this summer) to self-check off the sessions that you attended and keep it for your records. Printed copies of the tracker will not be available onsite.

Golf Outing

Our 13th annual golf outing will be on Tuesday, September 15 (location TBD). We had nearly 25 golfers at our last outing, and we are always looking for more!

  • First tee time is at 1:00, scramble format
  • Bring a team or contact John Crist to be placed on one
  • $TBD per player (payable to the club house)
  • Fee free to come early for lunch (on your own)

The INAFSM Awards nomination process is now open! Please think about who in your circle of contacts would be great nominees for the many categories of awards we offer.  Past recipients of each award and award descriptions can be found online. Nominees and nominators are NOT REQUIRED to be INAFSM members. The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, May 15, 2020. View and/or complete nomination form. If you have any questions, please contact the awards chair Jason Miller.

Logo Merchandise

Threads is taking orders for INAFSM logo merchandise that you can purchase! They have selected some really cool items to put in a special webstore just for INAFSM that you can access by clicking here (coming this summer).

Orders placed by Friday August 28 (11:59pm EDT) can be picked up from DJ at the conference. You can also have orders shipped to you (you can choose this option during your online check out) or you can pick them up at the Colored Threads store (if you contact them directly).

For attendees not staying overnight at the host hotel:

The following are the options for exhibitors and guests of the Old National Events Plaza:

  • Civic Center Parking Lot (free to the public) - directly behind Old National Events Plaza
  • Off-Street Parking

For attendees staying overnight at the DoubleTree:

Normally $15 per day, INAFSM guests staying at the DoubleTree will receive complimentary parking. Be sure to tell the hotel's front desk that you will be parking a vehicle on the premises.
