Know Before You Go!

Check out this handy guide so you'll be well prepared for your visit to South Bend. This document will be made available as we get closer to the conference

Tracking PDHs

For those who need to track their professional development hours, we will post a PDH Tracker sheet you can save for your records to self-check off the sessions you attend. Printed copies of the tracker will not be available onsite. Looking for your hours from 2020 or 2021? You can access your history and print out a certificate by clicking on the "My CEUs" link (at top of this page).

Two scholarships will be awarded, one for someone working in floodplain management and one for someone working in stormwater management. In addition to the registration fee, this scholarship includes most meals at the conference. Hotel registration, travel expenses, and any other conference related expenses or incidentals are the sole responsibility of the scholarship winner. Winners will be expected to volunteer as needed during conference. Application to be posted soon.

Hotel Information

The Century Center is connected via a climate-controlled skywalk to the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, which was recently renovated. INAFSM's discounted room rate of $99 is valid through August 12 or when the room block fills up (whichever happens first).

  • Book your room online. After clicking on link, select "Edit Stay" to update your room night selection. Or call (574) 283-7112 and use INAFSM's discount code "INA."

Parking Information

For conference attendees staying at the Doubletree, parking in the hotel's garage is complimentary. A $15/day rate will apply for individuals not registered as guests at the host hotel.

Golf Outing

Our 14th annual INAFSM golf scramble will be held at Erskine Park Golf Club (4200 Miami Rd, South Bend) on Tuesday, September 13th, with the first group teeing off at 1:08 pm. Erskine Park opened in 1925, features scenic rolling hills with bent grass greens and has hosted such icons as Arnold Palmer and John Wooden. Greens fees with cart are only $45 per golfer, paid directly to the course upon your arrival. Show up early to relax and enjoy lunch at the course, also on your own (dogs and brats). Contact John Crist to enter yourself or reserve a foursome!

Silent Auction

Once again we'll be hosting a silent auction, to support our Greg Main Memorial Scholarship fund! Would your business donate an item? Or you personally? Perhaps you and co-workers can put together a basket of items from your part of the state? Wondering what would make a good item? Just think about items on which you might like to bid; if the item or collection of items is interesting to you, then there's a good chance that others will be interested, too. Please contact Suzie Delay or call (317) 234-1063) to make a donation or request more information.

Logo Merchandise

Through out the year, Colored Threads takes orders for embroidered apparel featuring the INAFSM logo. For those who order before August 15, you can save on shipping and we'll bring your purchase to the conference for you.
