Check out this handy guide so you'll be well prepared for your visit to Evansville.

Tracking PDHs

For those who need to track their professional development hours, you can use this PDH Tracker sheet to self-check off the sessions that you attended and keep for your records. Printed copies of the tracker will not be available onsite.

Scholarships

Application deadline was August 5. Two scholarships will be awarded, one for someone working in floodplain management and one for someone working in stormwater management. In addition to the registration fee, this scholarship includes most meals at the conference. Hotel registration, travel expenses, and any other conference related expenses or incidentals are the sole responsibility of the scholarship winner. Winners will be expected to volunteer as needed during conference.

Hotel Information

The DoubleTree by Hilton-Evansville is this year's host hotel and is conveniently connected to the Old National Events Plaza by enclosed skybridge. INAFSM's discounted room rate of $99 is valid through August 13 or when the room block fills up (whichever happens first).

  • Book your room online. Room rate is good September 11-20. After clicking on link, select "Edit Stay" to update your room night selection.
  • Or call (812) 423-5002 and use INAFSM's discount code "IN1" (phonetically: eye-en-one).

Parking Information

For conference attendees staying at the Doubletree, parking in the garage is complimentary. Conference attendees not staying at the hotel can park free of charge in the surface lot of the Old National Events Plaza.

Golf Outing

Our 13th annual INAFSM golf scramble will be held at Helfrich Hills Golf Course (1550 Mesker Park Drive) in on Tuesday, September 14. The first group will tee off at 1:00 pm. Helfrich Hills features many hills and valleys and remains one of the favorite tests of golf in the tri-state area. Greens fees with cart are only $36 per golfer, paid directly to the course upon your arrival. Show up early to relax and enjoy lunch at the course. Contact John Crist to enter yourself or reserve a foursome!

Silent Auction

Once again we'll be hosting  a silent auction, to support our Greg Main Memorial Scholarship fund! Would your business donate an item? Or you personally? Perhaps you and co-workers can put together a basket of items from your part of the state? Wondering what would make a good item? Just think about items on which you might like to bid; if the item or collection of items is interesting to you, then there's a good chance that others will be interested, too. Please contact Suzie Delay or call (317) 234-1063) to make a donation or request more information.

Logo Merchandise

Colored Threads is taking orders for embroidered apparel featuring the new INAFSM logo. While apparel won't be ready in time for the Annual Conference (items will be shipped to the address specified by the purchaser), we encourage everyone to display their INAFSM pride and place an order
