Continuing Education

INAFSM offers many opportunities for its members to complete professional development hours (PDH), continuing education credits (CEC), or continuing development hours (CDH) for professional certifications. From Annual Conference which offers nearly 45 sessions and full-day High Water Mark training sessions and other training events throughout the year, many INAFSM members can achieve all or nearly all of their required PDHs for that cycle. INAFSM provides emailed certificates of completion to attendees of INAFSM events. An example of credit hours available in 2017 are as follows:

Annual Conference

  • Indiana Professional Land Surveyors - up to 15 PDHs
  • Indiana Professional Engineers - up to 15 PDHs
  • Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM) - up to 12 CECs

National Stormwater Certifications

The individual is responsible for saving the conference agenda, conference registration receipt, and any other documentation required by the applicable licensing board.
