Hydraulic Engineer - DNR Division of Water

As the Hydraulic Engineer, you will be responsible for working as a senior level engineer in the Engineering Service Center analyzing and reviewing data regarding the water resources of the state.  In this position, you will review and perform hydraulic and hydrologic assessments required under the Indiana Flood Control Act, the Indiana Floodplain Management Act, the Indiana Dam Safety Act, and the National Flood Insurance Program.

Assistant Planner, Area Plan - Kosciusko County

Enforce County flood control ordinance, including reviewing elevation certificates for compliance with required elevations and pursuing violations. Interpret National Flood Insurance Rate (NFIP) maps and flood studies and assist general public, real estate personnel, and insurance personnel with flood related information and problems, including submitting map amendments and revisions for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Maintain communications with FEMA and Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) regarding flood issues. Maintain records in database for elevation certificates. Perform on-site inspections during flood events.

Engineering Technician, MS4/Permits - Hamilton County

Coordinates job activities with Project Engineer, including assisting with department planning and programming activities, performing/assisting with surveying and design, and consulting with Project Engineer regarding department priorities, scope, and objectives. Reviews and approves regulated drain easement encroachments. Researches courthouse records for property deeds, secondary plats, recorded surveys, easements, right of way descriptions land and covenants as needed.
