Job Description:

Williams Creek is currently offering a position for a qualified and driven individual to add to our team of professionals. Responsibilities will vary depending on the level of experience. Potential responsibilities may include: Civil site design; assist in providing technical direction to staff as necessary; maintain project files and project deadlines; monitor projects’ status and budget; assist supervisory staff with internal resource allocation; provide feedback to supervisory staff on performance; represent and promote Williams Creek by attending conferences, workshops, etc.; foster a diverse skill set within the staff to expand available services. Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will vary depending on the level of experience. Potential responsibilities may include:

  • Lead by example – strong work ethic, responsible decision making, and conscientious business and environmental ethics
  • Civil site design to include the following:
    • Detailed grading closely following Low Impact Design philosophies
    • Sustainable stormwater management applications
    • Traditional utility infrastructure design (sanitary, water, gas, etc.)
    • Site Planning
    • Detail and Specification creation
    • Actively manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Assist in providing technical direction to staff as necessary
  • Maintain project files and project deadlines
  • Monitor projects’ status and budgets
  • Assist supervisory staff with internal resource allocation
  • Provide feedback to supervisory staff on performance
  • Represent and promote Williams Creek by attending conferences, workshops, etc.
  • Foster a diverse skill set within the staff to expand available services

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 4+ years experience in the civil engineering field with emphasis on civil site design and construction document production
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Civil 3D experience creating construction documents related to grading, utilities, etc.
  • Extensive experience performing stormwater management calculations to include at a minimum hydrologic and hydraulic calculations related to pressure flow, open channel flow, storm sewer sizing, detention facility sizing and conformance with water quality standards

Experience in the following programs:

Arc GIS
AutoCAD/Civil 3D (preferred)
Microsoft Suite
HEC-RAS
Stormwater Management Software (SWMM, ICPR, HydroCAD preferred)
