A special hybrid event will be held on June 22 from 10 a.m. to noon ET in conference room 22 of the Indiana Government Center South. To attend in person, you must register in advance because in-person attendance is limited to the first 40 registrants; you may also register to virtually attend this session.

This workshop will discuss what a variance is, variance procedures, what are justified and unjustified variances and when boards should deny or grant variances. The workshop is open to all who wish to attend; however, local floodplain administrators, board of zoning appeals members, and any planning, zoning, and building staff are strongly encouraged to attend.
